Good afternoon parents and guardians,
This message is to provide you with further details and information regarding the upcoming high school vaccination clinics which will be held at Cranston High Schools East and West next week for Cranston Public Schools students aged 16 and up. The students will be receiving the Pfizer vaccination and the clinics will take place in the gymnasiums of both high schools. The Cranston Fire Department will be administering the vaccinations and emergency medical personnel will be on hand in case of any emergencies.
All students who wish to receive a vaccine must be registered using the links below. The registration link for Cranston High School East’s clinic will be live until 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 2. The registration link for Cranston High School West’s clinic will be live until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 4.

Students who attend the New England Laborers Cranston Public Schools Construction Career Academy can attend either clinic and transportation will be available to them.
Upon receiving their first vaccination, students will receive a vaccination card. It is imperative that students keep their cards and bring them with them to their next vaccination appointment.
Students should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled vaccination time.
Students will not be allowed to leave the vaccination clinic until they have waited the required 15 minutes
after their shot.
Students will register for their second vaccination while they are waiting to leave after their first vaccination. A QR code will be provided and students will register using their phones. Technology assistance will be available if needed and there will be laptops available if students do not have a phone.
The second clinic dates are May 24 at Cranston High School EAST and May 26 at Cranston High School WEST.
The full vaccination cycle will be completed in time for all students 16+ to be fully vaccinated before junior and senior class events in June. As a result, students who are fully vaccinated will not need to produce a “negative” Covid test in order to participate and will not need to quarantine if deemed a close contact to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
